No No, I have the Lionel Lines streamliners from 1996 made to go with the re-issue of the 2343's. I was wondering if the Lionel Lines cars in the postwar celebration series re-issue if the JC passenger set from 1956 has ribbed channels like the ones I have, or flat channels (which whould be correct since the original was made in 1956). I was asking this because I wanted to add more lionel lines (the silver dawn, range, bluff, platter and baggage car) streamliners to supplement the ones i have now.

Nick,
Much success in finding even the 1996 issue of the CNJ passenger cars.
I have been trying to find some Lionel passenger cars from 1996 in Reading Company, Lionel numbers 15101, 15102, 15103 and 15105. It seems like people gobble up the northern railroad items and won't let go once they buy them.

Hey all.
I have a question about the streamlined passenger cars that came with the pwcs jersey central set, released a few years ago. Did the cars have ribbed or flat channels? I have a set of ll streamliners from 1996 (the ones that came with the 2343 re-issue) and would like to expand my collection of them if they have ribbed channels rather than the flat channels.
btw, whats up with the conventional classics series? the prices are going up and they are re-releasing the most random sets. i think they could have made alot of better choices, seeing as they did so good on the first selection of products.
