tas problem
Posted by florida dave on Monday, April 19, 2010 4:18 PM
I installed a tas command and sound board in my lionel mohawk. All seems to work, but when moving the headlight flickers and the engine occasionally stops in the reset position. Thanks for any help.

Normally that is an indication of a signal issue.

When it does this try holding an outstretched hand above the loco, if the flashing stops you will need to check your grounding and your TMCC set-up. If everything checks ok it may be an antennae issue with the loco.

Thanks so much, it was the antenna position. The sides of the tender are metal, I wasn't thinking. So, it's now under the plastic coal load. Works great!
