It really seems like UP's management has their heads pretty far up their butts. It sounds like the union has a pretty good gripe. There was another interesting story involving UP further down the page. A woman in Colorado was seriously injured by a UP train, and her family was inadvertently sent a bill. UP apologized, but it really makes me wonder if anyone there has a clue.

The UTU is sueing the UP because Managers are running trains because of a lack of engineers because the UP won't promote their conductors and brakemen to that position.
