[8D][8D]Sunday morning (6-13-04) a Canadian Pacific will be going from Buffalo to Chicago on the CSX main line. It should be coming thru the Cleveland area between 8:00 and 12:00 noon. [:D][:D][:D]

This info was e-mailed to me and was barrowed from another unknown source:
QUOTE:
That is the route the steam locomotive is going to take from Monteal to
Chicago, next week. It runs first to Toronto, then Welland, Ontario via
CP trackage then crosses the border into the US via CN and goes to (CSX)
Buffalo, NY on June 12th, and then on to Cleveland on June 13th (to
Willard, OH) using CSX trackage south of Lake Erie, and then arrives in
Chicago on June 14, (or 15th).

NOTE CHANGE: the engine will not be running on NS anymore and will now
be using CSX (Ex-CR) trackage to Chicago. I don't know whether a CSX diesel
will be at the point however.

Hi All,

I have borrowed some pics of this great looking engine from “macguy”, one of our forum members on the Trains forum.

QUOTE: Got some pictures today of the Hudson 2816 steam trails. CP is testing the 2816 between the Coquitlam yard and Mission in the lower mainland, British Columbia, Canada.

Almost didn't go, but thought I should go and see if I can sneek a peek at the last minute.

Be nice, these pics are just me and my little digital camera, just took them for fun

Took this one while driving in my car and shooting across out the passenger window at 60 Km/h (my car is still in one piece too )

It turned out to be a great day for train hunting!

I would like to thank macguy for these great pics.

HI Johnnyc,

In NE Ohio it is easy, as the CSX mainline runs close to the lake. I am not sure about up in New York State.

Here is a web address that may help you

Hi all,

Here is some of the pics that I took of the Royal Canadan 2816 as it came thru Willoughby, OH today.

It was being pulled by a diesel and was just along for the ride today.
