OK, this is it, the final straw, I hate you.
Now, I will never be able to post a video of my miserable little 8' x 8' AF layout.
I will fix you, Timboy, I will film my 22' x' 42' HO layout and put your crummy little S Scale layout to shame.
We don't need no stinkin videos !
All right, I have settled down. That is simply fantastic. An absolutely gorgeous layout.
Is that a C&NW swticher? A 355 perhaps?
I gotta go now and prepare my basement for my new and expanded S Scale layout.

Where is the link to Parts 1 and 2 so that I may become even more nauseous?

Never mind, I found them right there on Youtube, I will return with my critique.
Great looking layout!! But, aren't you missing a rail?

Oh boy, dems fightin' words.
Timboy is not going to like this.
If you look at his blog, he has nothing nice to say about Lionel.
I checked out your other videos & have to agree; the new sky looks much better. Also, seems to me that your 'prairie dog hole' (remember, I'm out west) access is original, too.
Beautiful layout!
Very nice. I agree, the only thing to make it better would be a third rail

You guys have to stop this third rail crap. The reason we all like Timboy's layout is that is looks real. The only time that I have ever seen a three rail train system in the real world is on the Chicago elevated train line. And, remember, the third rail can kill you.
I think that the guy who first developed Lionel probably had some form of astigmatism and didn't realize the mistake he had made.
American Flyer rules !
In all my years I have never seen a move towards AF. Great Layout Timboy. I guess I shouldn't say that I have retired all my S to the display walls after a 2 year layout, it was fun, but then I was turned to the darkside with Lionel railsounds.... It was alot of fun running them but in last 10 years I could not find anyone interested in it, and the products kept going up in price. The next step is Ebay, time to thin the herd.
Again nice layout, visited your blog and I like the ideas/ improvements made. I believe if I could have found a way to install command control and sound at an economical price. I would still be running S. Its funny about how you say we need Lionel, and ironically we do becuase they own the rights and are sole producers of American Flyer at this moment.

That bothers me a lot. It is as if the fox owns the chicken coop.
Timboy .... that is a fantastic layout and extremely well done ... I don't care how many rails it has ... I'm a 3 rail guy but congradulations are in order for you ...
richhotrain .... chill out .... those guys were only jokeing .... if all of your engines are'nt museum quality brass ... or high end diecast then none of them LOOK REAL ..... and how many real looking .... real train cars are plastic ?

So am I, Ole Timer, joking that is. Gotta keep those Lionel guys on the straight and narrow.
Then you have to bring up the arguement if a toy train is in a window or on a dealer display set up isn't it making money? So isn't it a real train... hmm a very fine line indeed.
The same cargo as any 'Demonstrator' would haul.
