Are the same WBB Golden Memories made every year?
Posted by Lehigh Valley Lines on Thursday, March 18, 2010 12:20 PM

Do they ever add or remove some of their engines from the Golden Memories?

I mean in a couple years will they still be making the 671 or 681 turbines? Or do they discontinue them after some time? Or would they ever reproduce a 675?

And am I correct, that the Golden Memories are ONLY reproductions of the Lionel Post War engines?

Thanks!

I believe that the traditional method that Williams did their production was to do a production run of a given road name and keep it in stock until it sold out (occasionally several years). I don't believe that they do a production run of every road name of every model every year.
