Sign - Welcome rjfonda1,

Besides Lionel or MTH have you tried either Atlas or Williams by Bachmann? Atlas engines can be ordered with TMCC or Legacy installed. When you find something let us know!

An engine that FEC could have used is the BL2 diesel.

You do realize that FEC quit passenger service in 1964, there was a strike by FEC employees and FEC up & quit running passenger service. So that would be almost 45 years ago.

Good luck finding a set of the MTH E3's. It's been 8 years since they were cataloged & produced. I finally gave up trying to find them and obtained a sister set in Santa Fe livery, and had them custom repainted into the FEC scheme.

I also did order the MTH Railking passenger set + the 2 car add on when they were cataloged. I actually ran them using a GP9 in FEC colors until I got my E3's. I actually  told Mike Wolf that I'd never buy an FEC passenger set unless they were made in the correct "stainless steel" look.  1 year later, they were in the catalog.

You might also think about getting a set of E6's or E8's-- and having them custom painted-----

fec o-gauge of "the champion"

As a child I lived near the FEC tracks in Ft. Lauderdale. I am looking for information on the E3A model diesels that ran the "Miamian"  "The Champion" and "Vacationer". My wish list includes one or more of these o gauge sets or the diesels. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Ron
