Some of those walls had to be pretty sturdy to hold up all of that iron!!!!!!!!  Big Smile

Jack.

IF IT WON'T COME LOOSE BY TAPPING ON IT, DON'T TRY TO FORCE IT. USE A BIGGER HAMMER.

Shelves it is for this week.

Nice to see all that Gilbert Flyer Jim.  I know that the layout has been taken down, but do you still have the display shelves up?

Its nice to see the variety of display options.  These are from Glenn Snyder Display Systems.  There are some standard wooden shelves too.

I have a batch of O gauge shelves from Snyder to mount yet.  Then I will be able to display more of the O gauge collection on the walls instead of on the layout or in boxes.

Been a busy day.  Sorry for getting things started, thanks for picking up the slack.  Since we are on the topic of shelves.

Have fun

Went to IKEA this weekend (after swinging by Entertrainment Junction),and I found some shelving for the train room.  I have been looking for these for a long while. These things are perfect.  2, 4, and 8 ft long, and available in white or black.  $20 for the 8ft piece.  If you don't have an IKEA nearby, they are on page 38 in the catalog.  They were intented for picture frames.

The Railroads, and the town are preparing for the annual St. Patrick's Day parade. Notice the green trim on the Reading Co. Pacific no. 703. Even the gold numbers and markings got a touch up. Passing McGuire's Pub, they see a special delivery coming their way. The waiter isn't aware of Rule G, or any other RR rules, since he expects the train to stop on a dime just because he brought liquid refreshment. ;) ... a little more, and they'll arrive at the station. Enjoy yourself at the parade!

Getting warmed up and ready to run. Build the lash-up and check/set stall speed and to be on the safe side set max voltage as well. Whistling
