ROB......the 681 is the only one of the 3 turbines with magnetraction?  It makes that much of a difference with the number of cars that can be hauled?  Wow!

I don't have a long enough straight to really test it, but my 681 easily pulls 10 post war (Lionel Corp) or mixed vintage cars so I think it could pull more with longer straights & wide curves.

With fast-angle wheels & 9200/9700 & lighter cars(9xxx), figure ~30 for the 671/2020 & ~40 with the 681.

Anyone have experience with how many MPC (and later) era cars I can expect a 671/2020/681 to pull on straight level track? Thx
