CARL OLSON'S LAYOUT IN MARCH CTT
Posted by RI Jim on Sunday, February 14, 2010 12:36 PM

I really enjoyed the article on Carl Olson's layout in the recent CTT and would like to use his track plan as a basis for my new layout.  According to the article he used Ross/GarGraves for track, also what I would like to use.  I would like to know what radius curves he used for his outside loop and the wye on the left hand side, along with what curved turnouts were used.  I am attempting to put together the track plan using RR Track software, and things don't quite fit or look like the track arrangement shown in the article. If Mr. Olson reads this forum, I'd love to have a RRT file of the layout so I can modify it to fit my space.  Thanks.

Try sending an email to the CTT staff and they may be able to forward your emal to Mr. Olson.  (We used to do that with snail mail.)
