Probably asked before but I couldn't find the answer so please bear with me. I use O27 tubular track and would like to replace a 27" Path Remote-Control Switch (6-65121) on one of my loops. (It is aged and is causing some problems with my BEEP and another short engine. Some times they bounce, sometimes they pause and reverse.) Is there another brand switch that could easily fit and would solve the problem or would you suggest just buying a brand new (same) one? As always, many thanks.
Best thing to do is find a K-Line O27 switch, especially the ones made in the last two years before the bankruptcy. They are just about the best O27 units out there. I've bought quite a few in the last two years as Christmas presents. If you can't find a K-Line, then a new Lionel will do, but you may end up with the same problem.

willpick: Thanks for your advice.
Have you thought about using a Gargraves switch? They make one in 032 and all it needs are adapter pins to work with 027 track, it is the same heigth as 027 track. I finally went with Gargraves because my Lionel switches kept breaking down and giving me more problems than I could keep up with.
