Display Shelf Spacing
Posted by Anonymous on Saturday, June 5, 2004 6:31 PM
Hi all,

I was wondering what typical display shelf spacing is for traditional non-scale rolling stock.

If the shelves are spaced to accomdate Evans auto loaders and Airex boat loaders (the tallest I currenly own), will that accomodate other rolling stock such as burro cranes and derrick cars?

Thanks,
Steve

HI Steve,

I made my shelves out of 1 x 6 and 5 ½ “ between them. As you can see, I have no problem with any of my stock.

By using 1 x 6 will allow you to put two rolls of cars on one shelve.

Hope this helps

I don't work for Glen Synder Display Systems, but I own the product. If you don't care what the shelving is made from, I would suggest buying GSDS. I love them! And no worries about spacing. http://www.gsds.com/
