How to make cobblestone?
Posted by c&o 1601 on Monday, February 8, 2010 5:29 PM

Well hello. I am curently making a HO model railroad and am trying to make some cobblestone for my station. Any sugestions on how to make it? I am intersested in Scale Crete (This compound sets slowly so you can work with it over a period of time). Has anyone ever heard of this before, if so, does it work?

Try looking a Scenic Express's catalogue.  With the large variety they have you might find a sheet material you can use.

Some of us here take floor tile that looks like rock and cut it in small pieces stone shaped and glue them down . The kind without the thin foam ..... the solid type . Looks great . They come in many designs .... some stores you can buy them indiviually . One of our local General Dollar stores sells a whole box for $ 4.00 .
