Some K-Line TMs did have TMCC, some didn't. Yep the wires would be the place to start and then the fan.

Thanks for all the advice, Guys!
But I'm not sure this animal has TMCC, this engine is a older K-Line (before Lionel bought them), and there's no mention of this locomotive having TMCC in the owner literature either.
I guess I'll check the "plug" to the smoke unit first, and go from there.
did you check the on/off and if TMCC did you turn it on?
Have you tried a complete TMCC re-program?
Jon
Sounds like you need to remove the top and look inside at the small plug-in connectors first. Sometimes it is only a small connecter that came loose. Does it have enuff smoke fluid?
MTH units don't smoke with very little fluid left, maybe that's what is happening with yours, try that before going to have it repaired.

Hello folks:
I'm new to the forums here.
I have a K-Line Virginian Trainmaster, that just stopped smoking, I don't hear the fan running anymore.
Have any of you guys encountered this?, what should I look for ?. Other than that, the engine runs great.
Thanks!
