Hi guys

Just received an old 2026 -100 motor from a friend

It is missing the e-unit

How can i test it to see if it runs

Wire the armature and the field in series:  One end of the field winding is already connected to the frame.  Connect the other end to one of the brushes.  Connect the other brush to the pickup.  If it doesn't go the direction you want, swap the brush connections.  (That's what the e-unit does.)
