installing small rivets

 HI, looking for advice on installing small rivets.

Specifically, These are small 1615-62 rivets that are used to connect some linking rods that are on the outside locomotive wheels.

 Do I need a special tool to do this (I only have to install 2) or are there some alternative methods and/or best practices that people use to do this.

 Chuck,

You can carefully try using a center punch to open up the eyelet. Tap lightly and try to evenly open and fold back around the sides.
