Nice pics GUYZ.  Since we are on the real engines this is what I did on my summer vacation.  I will be operating it again this summer.  At the Pioneer Tunnel in Ashland Pa.

And finally with MOM.

Great shots everyone!  Buckeye, nice weathering job!  That presidential car, was that the Ferdinand Magellan?  As mentioned in another post, was a loooong time ago that I was there.  Laz, I think I mentioned this to you some time ago, but the badda bing club is actually a joint called "Satin Dolls" up in Jersey.  We used to look down onto the building from Station #2 in Hackensack FD.  Waiting to see some more of Chief's contributions as promised.

Good pictures guys.

A couple of snapshots of recent projects.

1st is the Marx 666 I recently aquired.  This one was a dis-assemble, clean, re-wire job.  First time I've managed to get smoke to show up too.

Next is the LED headlights I've added to my #600 MKT NW-2.

Little late getting these posted.

Somehow the CPI cars got out of order, so I was waiting for Fife's before posting these and getting the on their way.

Next is John's car:

Well, added new Bait And Tackle shop in Roseyville.  That is so I can get lots of $$$$ from Buckeye when he comes to fish.

But the best is the envy of Buckeye.  He does NOT have a real bass boat.  Here is the now one ona N&W flat.

Ran some older engines.  The E6 has not been run in a year or so.  Fired right up without battery charging.  Both A unit threw their traction tires.  Think they were dried out from not running.  Runs good and smokes good.  Think I will go to Radio Shack and get a connector and make a charging port on the underside.  BTW" hate those MTH tethers.  Also ran some Pre War.  You see the Berk passing the E6.

Look and see the big smoke trail the Berk is leaving.  Who says old Lionel can't smoke.

Hey Laz,

I'm originally from Shenandoah.  I toured the Pioneer Tunnel as a kid, but I do not remember a train.  Thanks for the photos.

Chief;

If the bait shop is for Buckeye to shop at, wouldn't it be more appropriate for the signs out fron to say

"Hooks, LINES, and sinkers"?

Bill,

Did you build the Yuengling building yourself, or buy it somewhere?  As someone who grew up not too far from the brewery, and enjoyed one on many occasions, I would like to have that piece on the layout my son and I are building.

Thanks,

Joe

Hi Joe, The Yuengling micro brewery is a Dept 56 limited edition from about 2 years ago. Price was around $80. I don't know if it still available, you could check out Dept 56 on the Bay.

Thank you all for posting pictures for the enjoyment of us all.  Breweries, casinos, tanker cars and a tractor trailer filled with beer.  Ole Mil, Olympia, Yeungling.  Bait and tackle shop with a Bass power boat.  All that was missing was a scale version of Don's neighbor.  Nice stuff, and it made me thirsty.

Jack.

Bill, Doug, and Laz57 thanks for the information on the Yuengling brewery piece.

 Laz57,

All those terms ring a bell.  Kowalonek's is the best place in the world to buy kielbasa; I had some last Easter.  It's great to see other Coal Crackers in the forum.
