SP Daylight 60' vista dome car
Posted by ordiei on Saturday, January 23, 2010 6:31 PM

Hey everyone,

What a wonderful Christmas.  I got the MTH SP GS4 Daylight set from my dear ol' Ma and am looking to score some add on cars.  I was fortunate enough to find the sleeper/diner two car set at the Train Show in Anaheim.  I have, however, had a heck of a time finding the 60' full vista dome (16.5") add on car anywhere.  Everywhere I call, they just wish me good luck.

Does anyone have a LHS or online source that are the gold at the end of the rainbow?  I've been keeping my eye on eBay, but just thought I'd throw it out to the crowd here on the forum.

Thanks in advance,

Ordiei

PS--This is my first MTH set and I just absolutely love the smoke output.  I literally smoked my sister outta the living room with the engine.  Love it!!!!!!

You can try the MTH product finder: http://69.20.67.75/content/product-locator Search for the item you are interested in, and It lists stores that have it in stock. It is not always 100% accurate but should give you good leads.

Yog-Sothoth,

Ordiei is correct to check with M.T.H.
The other day I checked with M.T.H. and a kind lady gave me the tele. numbers of three hobby shops, which had the item in stock, even though it was an older item.
I was able to purchase the item I needed, most stores don't carry the older items any longer.

Good Luck,

Ralph
