Pennsy cc 2332, only simple sounds

Hi guys for the life of me i cant get the full railsounds to work. I got a really good deal on this engine and dont really want to return it. Here is what ive tried so far. 1. Ive tried reseating the boards 2. Ive tried resetting the engine lcru. 3. obviously tried the switch in both settings. 4. Went so far as to hard wire the switch in both settings open and closed.

Ive not owned any of the other gg-1s with railsounds but also when i hold the horn button down rather than one long note it seems to skip the track. I dont have any other issues with any of my other tmcc engines. Any ideas? Thanks all.

Are you talking about the Century Club GG-1 or the Conventional Classics GG-1?

The Century Club engine comes with full RailSounds.  The Conventional Classics has a rudimentary bell and whistle.

Sorry yes the century club. Just tried putting the sound board from the gg1 in my mike, nada, but then again i had the bell and whistle in the gg1 and nothing in the mike. So i dont know if this really tells me anything. I dont really want to put the sound board from the mike in the gg1 in case there is another issue.
