Lionel Holiday Central Engine problem
Posted by Nepsa on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 8:53 PM

I purchased the Lionel Holiday Central "G" guage set after Christmas 2008. This past Christmas when I set it up for the first time (a year later), when I put the batteries, I got this smell of something burning. Nothing works, not even the whistle. It appears I have a defective circuit board.

Anyone know where I can purchase a new circuit board?

Thanks

You may want to contact one of the authorized Lionel Service Centers to see if parts are available for the battery powered locos.

Oh boy does that sound familiar except that I bought a Bachman ON30 trolley. I didn’t discover that it didn’t work until it was too late. Sad

Thanks, JohnnyB

Yes, I know that feeling, I hope you can get parts for the train.

Wow this thread is over 8 years old. I was wondering if you still have the train. My remote quit working so maybe I can buy yours? Find me on YouTube "Havoc Sun"
