Battery operated o guage trains
Posted by Raymond Leggs on Monday, January 11, 2010 5:11 PM

Anybody ever have any experience with Battery operated O scale trains

I have a few O guage sets from the family dollar and Toys R us laying around, and sometimes you can find some pretty unique trains in the oddest places.

I do remember having a couple of sets made by a company called toy state and the trains were More realistic looking than the lower-end lionel  trains (shows that they can do better) And I do remember the cars being longer than 0-27, Scale O I presume, the only thing wrong with the cars were the hook and loop couplers, I saw a set somewhere which had two GP-38's  a tanker, a VIRGINIAN hopper, a Boxcar and Caboose somewhere.

I do remember the curves being a wider radius than my lionel set
