Great photos as usual folks, thanks for posting. Jim that American Flyer display is fantastic.
Several sessions ago fifedog posted some pictures of his downtown with the addition of a subway entrance. The city elders here in Wausau decided to construct some new entrances to our subway system and thought that fife's design would work out well. After several trips to local suppliers without success, Dougdagrump assisted in the aquisition and delivery of two new entrances for the growing urban transportation system here on the Blueboard Central Division of American Flyer Lines. A motion was passed at the last City Board meeting thanking fifedog for his inspiration and Dougdagrump for his assistance.
The subway station entrances were completed this week:

Installed the new second shelf this morning.First there was one...Then there were two...A long coal train...And not to be out done, a long freight train...
The American Flyer CircusTrain display has been part of the Duke Energy Display since the first time I saw it in the Early '80's I think, I may very well be wrong because I was not fully infected with Gilbertitis.
I fell in love with that set 8 years ago. I don't have one. I do have the Circus Tent and pieces.
Maybe one day the rest of the set.
Gregg, Your subway additions look great.
Brent, You are much braver than I am, think I would've installed those shelves about 3 feet higher up the wall. Away from little hands & fingers.
This series of photos is for Doug M and anybody else who appreciates Thomas & Friends additions. These were all done by a youngster, 11 y.o. I think, in the 3Railers Kids Club.

Great pics all, Heres a few of mine.
This set arrived on Friday. My only 'complaint' was that the LED headlamps had a blue tint to them. I installed Yelo-Glo LEDs and am very happy with the results.

I used this one a few minutes ago on the "Grass Mat" post. Thought I'd post it here since it was available.
lionroar88 dougdagrump Brent, You are much braver than I am, think I would've installed those shelves about 3 feet higher up the wall. Away from little hands & fingers. Doug, I was thinking about that, however if I put the shelves above the pictures then even I would have a near impossible time seeing the trains on them. Where they are will be fine, I am thinking of ways to build removable barriers to keep the hands and fingers at bay. I'm thinking 4 panels made from some sort of clear plastic maybe plexiglass or something similiar. I did this mostly so I could get the two long passenger trains off the lower level. This will allow me to start tackling the electrical problem.
Razorwire perhaps !
The Roseyville Div of the NS has modernized and gone environmeantally clean with its diesels. [not like the polluting Rogers Corner Div of Buckeye's RR]

Stellar photos everyone. Thank you for taking the time to post them for everyone's enjoyment. Jack.
IF IT WON'T COME LOOSE BY TAPPING ON IT, DON'T TRY TO FORCE IT. USE A BIGGER HAMMER.
fifedog Northwoods - That entrance looks better on your layout.
Thanks Fife. The photos of your layout are always an inspiration. I have enjoyed seeing the level of detail that you have created in a small space and your use of things that are available on the open market.
And frankly I like the way your subway entrance looks on your layout. With a little imagination I think those large pink birds that you treasure could find their way down your entrance, take an extended ride on the subway and end up here in my part of the country.
