How do I post pictures?
Posted by servoguy on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 3:44 PM

I am trying to post pictures of my carpet RR and can't figure out how to do it.  Can someone help?

My understanding is that you have to have the picture uploaded elsewhere first (photobucket, flickr, etc.), and you then create a link to it via the Rich Text Editor on the "Compose" tab in the posting mechanism. AFAIK this forum engine doesn't support file uploads for individual members.

I use photobucket.com.  Just put photo there & copy the IMG Code into the place for it after you click on the 'tree' here.  You many have to resize.

Good luck,

I'm also using Photobucket.  Lately I've been highlighting the IMG Code in Photobucket, right clicking on it, selecting copy, then right clicking in the compose area in this forum and selecting paste.

The IMG code will be displayed in the text area, but you can pick the preview tab to view the pictures as they will show up on the post.

Good luck.
