Well I looked this up. I found out that the worlds longest model train was in HO scale, and it was 361 ft 10 in. It had 3 locos up front and had 887 cars, and it was at the largest model railroad in the world in Handburg, Germany. The model railroad is called Miniature Wunderland.

DAVID,
Upon reading your post I was wondering if there is a record amount of time that a toy train has been running continuously? Anybody know?

I stumbled across this website that claims to show the oldest electric toy train. I wonder if what they claim is true?
