Tip - Wiring Legacy To Run Conventional Engines
Posted by mxnmrv on Monday, December 28, 2009 3:57 PM

Per the Lionel Technician, if you want to run conventional engines using Legacy Command, the TMCC PowerMaster, PowerHouse Brick and the PowerMaster Bridge, it should be wired as follows:

Using the "Y" cable that comes with the Legacy, connect the the cable that says Legacy to the Legacy Base, the cable that says Command Base to the PowerMaster Bridge, and the cable that says Serial Comm does NOT connect to anything.  Unfortnuatly, I cannot test this out yet as I received a "lemon" Legacy system and had to return it to Lionel for a replacement. But thought I would pass this along as the manual for both the Legacy and the Bridge are not really clear on how to wire it.
