Lionel Legacy SF Warbonnet Dash 8-40BW #562 Question
Posted by wrawroacx on Sunday, December 27, 2009 9:37 PM

I saw the video review of the Lionel Legacy SF Warbonnet Dash 8-40BW under the heading above Videos & Reviews here on Classic Toy Trains Magazine Website. After I viewed the video, I noticed one thing in the video I heard. What I heard was the different pitch of the horn. So I went back a second time to listen to it again, and Bob obviously wasn't using the Legacy hand controller or he was using it in Convential Mode because, if you notice in the Video Review you can here the difference of horn pitch at the 1:49 - 1:50 mark in the video. At that second you can here the different tone. So, my question is, Does anybody have this engine, and if they do have this engine, what does the Horn actually sound like? Does it sound like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aH9NRlB2nls&feature=related or no? Also, if anybody has this engine, What do the Engine Sounds sound like, and What's the crew talk like?

CTT should put the Crew Talk, Base Volume, and have louder sounds in there Video Reviews, so people can know what the engine or any engine in the past, sounds like. (Just a hint CTT).
