Posted by catdoing on Saturday, December 26, 2009 5:02 AM

i have a small switcher tmcc control. my problem is it will stop anywhere on track with no throttle response.everything else will still work ie horn crew talk bell .i took it to a service station and they kept it a week would not quit!  put it on my smaller layout ran fine. put it back on my legacy layout same problem. all my other tmcc engines run fine just my switcher. this problem just started it has run fine for year and half

Just a guess but it sounds like this specific switcher is losing the TMCC signal on your larger layout. Since it only happens to this loco I would say you have an attenna problem within the switcher.
