I received 2 sets of Woodland Scenic people for Lionelville; a group of bicyclists (kids and pop dispensor), and a pair of canoers.  Oh yes,  3 Lionel t-shirts too.

I got extremely lucky this year. I got a postwar KW transformer, which my pw trains will greatly apreciate, and a Lionel Nickel Plate Road Berkshire Jr. steam locomotive, which is very beautiful with shiny nickel rimmed wheels and rods with Railsounds. A collector had purchased it and hardly ever ran it so its like brand new. I cut the old sock off the smoke unit element and replaced the pathetic original wicking with pink foam insulation, now it can hold 10-15 drops of fluid in the smoke unit and smokes alot better now. And fifty dollars in cash!

Give me steam locomotives or give me DEATH!

Lionel 6-17876 1989 LCCA Convention Car Which just happens to be Columbia ( check where I live ) Newberry ( about 15 miles away )  Laurens (About 70 miles away) so definite cool addition to collection. Not keen on the trucks thou there spring loaded but the attach from the rear end of the trucks vice center. the car appears to be semi scale its bigger than most but don't think its quite scale.

What has everyone given or recieved?

I woke up to an old Marx Glendale station; a postwar track bumper; track clips; and a copy of the January 2010 issue of "O Gauge Railroading."  I must say, the track clips are doing a good job keeping the carpet railway together, and the Glendale station continues a tradition:  my father recieved a large Marx freight station as part of a Sears outfit for Christmas of, I believe, 1957.
