Hi folks,
I'm new to this forum, so I hope this isn't an improper post.
Briefly, I'm trying to catalog my father's old O-gauge stuff, and I've encountered a few items I can't positively identify from research sources I'm aware of. Here is a hotlink to a photo of one such mystery item.
I'm pretty sure it's a pre war log car, and from the trucks and couplers I'm thinking maybe American Flyer, but that's as far as I can go. My dad's other stuff is mostly Ives, with a bit of Dorfan to keep it interesting.
Any suggestions?
Cheers
The design on the trucks is not very clear in the picture. That is probably the best clue. Exposed axle ends were in the 20's. The top supports look like a search light holder but they are too square.
Pretty sure thats prewar flyer. An early lumbercar from the 20's.
