Bill
If you are not the SELLER and it appears you are not a Buyer or Bidder
then what are you?

I'll help you out, are you a SHILL? Shills defraud and misrepresent contracts for the benefit of sellers and against honest bidders to the bidders financial detriment.

Why the interest in an ebay set you obviously have No interest in?

the answer is so simple don`t buy anything off of e-bey,and you won`t get stung.there is a lot of other sources to get what you want and you can see it right in front of you. i believe in face to face buying or selling, even then you could get stung if your not careful,at least you might have some recourse.

Scilling is a bunch of phony screen names bidding an item up. I don't see that happening. In his origional thread, the $800 ebay car example is the rare "seperate sale" version with the dark blue nose and origional box. The car in the set is the common one.....LOL...... The $425 car is a "buy it now" price. with 0 bids...LOL......... The Stout auctions $400 car is new to near mint and was authenticated on the floor at Stout. The set posted says "excellent" which it isn't because parts are missing. It has to have all origional parts to be excellent. No scratches or nicks either. If the rocket car has been played with, it isn't worth anywhere near $400. The seller of the set states there are pieces to the set that are broke so the set's been played with....LOL........Just because the rocket has a sharpener and says sterling doesn't make it origional. Sterling sold these seperatly with an "astronaut" stamp on them.

We don't know for sure who Bill is because his profile doesn't state where he lives. He seems aufully fishy. The false impressions he's given us with other ebay links to the rocket car's value sure has a lot of us wondering. He seems too knowledgeable to be that ignorant.

Pedaling wares on forums is not fraud. It just isn't welcome. Pedaling reproductions parts as origionals is fraud. We don't know for sure if the rocket is origional . Hiding under different screen names and posing as the buyer is lying. Not welcome here either.

Alan, let's not get started with this angle. Whether it is true or not really has little impact on the auction itself. Only certain people are interested in buying that set anyway.

Calling attention to it here (and on OGR and MR) isn't really harming anyone, and may even have some benefit, as a test of the marketplace.

Here's something to think about, if this is actually Bill's set that he's selling, he did set the reserve rather low. It was met around the $100 level. This is cyberspace, and while we may be suspicious, we have no proof of anything. I would expect you, above all others, to understand this concept. [swg]

If you smell a rat, the answer should be DON'T BID!!! Believe me, I've seen a lot of auctions that have looked "fishier" than this one.

This guy Bill is likely the Seller of the set in which case he has engaged in a FRAUD IN THE FACTUM by his threads on this forum.

BILLY-BOY that means that your sale on eBay is fraudulant and unenforceable against any would be buyer

I will be reporting this shill to eBay

You seemed way too interested in this sale on this forum and on OGRR's forum were you had started several topics on the same or similar items.

You kept pumping up the price by repeated thread on the average 5 per day on this one topic.

These are the current bidders; Bill which one is you??
