I was wondering if anyone has these or seen them in action. They look really neat for the little ones. Looks like a good way to "start" them in the hobby.
Before I saw these I was thinking about getting the Fisher-Price for my little guy. I have to wait a little while yet, he is only 10 mos now. But he loves to look at the PA Flyer I have around the tree. These ones by Lionel look more better in my opinion than the others that I have seen by Fisher-Price or the Thomas ones.

I have a few of the Little lines engines, and cars. Nice pieces, nice sound.
They have some difficulty running on smaller track like Imaginarium, and Thomas. Liittle lines are taller than the other trains as well, and are not able to get thru tunnels on these other train lines.

fjeromewhat is the recommended age range for Little Lines?
According to the stores info the Walmart one says 2-1/2 years and up and the Target Polar Express one says 3 years and up.
One of my friends has a son who was 1-1/2 when he got his Fisher-Price Geo Trax and was okay with it. Just needs to be supervised or he would just watch the train be operated by his daddy.
My 5 year old son has had Geo Trac for a little over two years now.He loves it and is getting more from Santa this year. The Lionel Little Lines will run on the Geo Track but the track is not compatible with each other.
What gauge is the track. Do they all have a cogged track?
