Who Makes Prototypical 1950's D.L.&W. RR./Lackawanna Passenger Cars & Caboose?

Please, I would appreciate any help in determining which company has the best, or closest to prototypical passenger cars and caboose for the D.L.& W. RR./ Lackawanna during the 1950's, in Standard 'O' scale?

Thank You,
Ralph

Not sure as to how "prototypical" they are but K-Line did a Phoebe Snow set and they were beauties, and the prices are astrnomical when they show-up, rather infrequently, on E-Bay. If memory serves me correctly they were 18" cars.

Remember the Veterans. Past, present and future.

Yes, K-Line has a set that does go for high dollars.  That is the 18" set, but be aware that they and Lionel both have 15" SETS out there too.  I think Weaver had a set in the Lackawanna green Pullman colors too.

Doug and Dennis,

I thank you both for this valuable info., and thanks to lionelsoni with his detailed description of the "Train Master" book's contents of Fairbank Morse's engines and Deputy with his C.T.T. Forum Subject of 'F.M. T.M's., they both have raised my desire to buy a F.M. T.M.
In additon, my Mother-in-law lives in Nanticoke, Pa. where the old D.L.&W./Lackawanna RR. Co. had interest in and hauled coal from within this area's mines and my Mother-in-law's father was a coalminer there.
I would like to pay tribute to these two relatives of my wife and I by building a coal mine and also pay tribute to the D.L.&W./Lackawanna RR. Co. by having a Lackawanna RR., F.M. T.M. engine, which served the area's coal mines.
According to the "Train Master" book, which I also bought, the D.L.&W./Lackawanna RR. Co. was the first customer of Fairbanks Morse's Train Master model locomotive and Lackawanna RR., at first, ran the F.M. T.M. units with their long hoods forward and as passenger service.  I have no factual knowledge, but I'm sure that the F.M. T.M's. saw freight service at a later time and with the short hood foward.  Please, correct me if I'm wrong, as I appreciate if someone can provide facts, when I'm unable to obtain them, elsewhere .
I read a brief detailed post on the internet that the Lackawanna RR. didn't use cabooses for freight service.  I'm not too sure of this statement.

Thank You,
Merry Christmas,

Ralph
