I saw that program on Tuesday. The "train of the future" turned out to be a MAGLEV. Nothing we don't know already.

Also, if you are a Santa Fe fan, don't miss tonight's Rt 66 show on the Travel Channel. That highway fits prominantly in many layouts (e.g., Rt 66 Motel).

I just saw a preview that the Travel Channel will have trains of the future, bullet trains and different train stations on this Friday, 5-28-04 at 8:00pm EST.

We will once again see that the US is far behind with world in passenger trains, Oh well.
