Frackville Display Train Layout open to the public Sunday Sept 20th
Posted by cruikshank on Saturday, September 19, 2009 2:26 AM

FYI the Frackville 3 rail display layout will be OPEN on Sunday September 20th from 12 noon - 5pm.  We have a multi-level display layout 24' x 55'. It is historically based on the Mahanoy Valley from the Buck Mt. tunnel through several boroughs and villages through to Ashland PA. It is based on the Reading and Pennsylvania Railroads circa 1925-through the 50's the Steam era. We run 6 trains automatically on one level, DCS & TMCC on another level, and conventional on yet another level. We also will soon have some "G" scale trains on display. This display is located in the Schuylkill Mall Frackville PA at the intersection of Interstate 81 and State Highway 61.  We are located in the former Steve & Barry's Wing of the Mall. Please stop by and give us a visit.  Thanks, Dave
