Marty: I have mixed feelings about this. I greatly applaud you guys working to get the Legacy System working properly. Lionel is lucky to have folks so dedicated to their products.

However, I am disappointed that item #3 is still on the list. I remember the problems with batteries being talked about back when Legacy first came out. Back then the fix was to simply not use the rechargeable batteries and use alkaline batteries. And that was quite a while ago. I'm surprised that after all this time it still hasn't been fixed. What IS encouraging is there is nothing on the list about Legacy systems losing communications with the locos. This was a problem a while back and was very frustrating for many folks. Has the problem been fixed by Lionel or has everyone figured a fix on their own?

Marty, I will not be able to attend York or the Legacy meeting this time.  If you would, please post a report of the meeting here as you did back in April.

Thanks

Dennis

9. Status of fix for the random electro-coupler firing problem?

WE WILL HAVE A SMALL TRACK SET UP TO DEMO THE SYSTEM USING LIONEL LEGACY LOCOMOTIVES.
