That sign is adapted to toy trains from similar signs that have been posted for fun around electronics establishments for as long as I have been an engineer (which is a long time!). Here is what someone alleges is the original from the 1960's:
"Alles touristen und non-technischen looken peepers! Das machinkontrol is nicht for gefengerpoken und mittengrabben. Oderwise is easy schnappen der springenverk, blowenfus, undpoppencorken mit spitzensparken. Der machine is diggen by experten only. Is nicht fur geverken by das dumpkopfen. Das rubber necken sightseenen keepen das cotton-picken hands in das pockets. So relaxen, und vatchen das blinkenlights."
And here is a version that the Germans are said to use:
"This room is fullfilled mit special electronische equipment. Fingergrabbing and pressing the knoeppkes from the computers is allowed for die experts only! So all the "lefthanders" stay away and do not disturben the brainstorming von here working intelligences. Otherwise you will be outthrown and kicked anderswhere! Also: please keep still and only watchen astaunished the blinkenlights."

Tres amusing.

I love it! Or should I say, it's wunderbar!

Dave,
I like your sign which looks official. Did you make it up, or have someone else make it up for you?
As, for Sid Caesar, I certainly remember his 1949 show "The Admiral Braodway Revue", then "Your Show Of Shows" and last "Caesar's Hour", as after WWII, my father went to a local trade school, not far from our residence, and he learned how to build and repair television sets, besides him already knowing about radios, phonographs and most other electronic and electrical appliances.
Right, about from mid. 1940's and on we saw almost all of the T.V. shows that were broadcasted in the Greater New York Metropolitan Area, New Jersey, Chicago, Detroit and such, by Coaxial Cabel links and the like, from the show's infancy, to their prominance. From one, or two T.V. stations, to the many, as now are being broadcast.
Thank you for reminding me of a time when things seemed simpler and being introduced to "The Big Real Trains"-"Lionel!"

Here is a sign I keep in my train room. I don't think it stops anyone from touching the layout but some adults might understand the humor.
For those of us who are old enough, it reminds me of an old Sid Caesar routine. Here is a short video of Sid Caesar doing one of his "foreign language" routines.
