I'm need help finding info. on "Genuine Tru Scale Roadbed HO ga 4 OR" tracks. They are completely wooden with no metal track. Are they a prototype? Have a whole box found in attic and can't find anything about them. They're beautiful and seem to be very old.
thanks,

"TRU-SCALE wood roadbed is made from Northern Basswood. The HO roadbed is 1/4" thick, excluding the ties, and 1-7/8" wide." What you found is probably what it said, roadbed, that is, wood pieces intended to be laid under and to support the rails. I suspect "4 OR" is actually "40 R", for 40-inch radius. They can be bought for $4 each from
