The instructions in Greenberg's say 14 3/4" between center rails. That works well for mine.

Good luck and hope you nejoy it.

97 coal loader
Posted by sarpilot on Friday, May 29, 2009 10:52 PM

I just purchased a 97 coal loader on e-bay. It will be here in a week. Does anyone know the track spacing for proper operation. I would like to get the track all set up before it gets here. Iv'e read somewhere that its about 15.5 inches from center rail to center rail. I tried the Lionel web page of instruction booklets. It gives the wiring but not the track spacing. Any help would be appreciated.

 THANKS STEVE
