The [}:)] Doctor Is is!!! The Deal is good!!! It was a low end starter set. I bought one
like it on Ebay also. It should have a manual reverse. Look in the cab, and there should
be a little lever you can move. It can be converted to an electronic E unit, Lionel has
the info on the web site. The set was the lowest priced traditional set in 1976. The
loco was worth $17/$21 as listed in the latest Greenburg guide. Also, It is not a strong
puller, the cars in the set are about as many as it is able to pull. It's a good starter set
and you got a good deal. Best of luck!

ebay purchase

I just bought a 70's lionel set on ebay. I realize that it was a cheap set in the 70's but heck it was cheap on ebay. I was wondering if anyone knows in the train has a reverse? I'm pretty sure there is no light. I would have bought it anyway, but I was just wondering. It is a Rock Island Line 027. Thanks
