I know my local Lionel dealer has an assortment of S-gauge replacement Flyer trucks and wheels (I'm assuming you're talking postwar Flyer). I'm into O myself but I've seen at least two different kinds on his shelves and in his parts bin by the register.

My local dealer's name is Marty's Model Railroads, and the number is (314) 638-8250.

For prewar Flyer I just bolt on whatever trucks I can get my hands on that fit (or I fabricate one out of sheet brass), and I typically use Marx wheels because they're cheap and more or less look the part.

American Flyer wheel and truck update help needed

Looking for help in upgrading old American Flyer freight equipment. Any source for replacement trucks or wheel sets.

I have a customer who's equipment barely rolls. He's not interested in retaining any collector value in his equipment.

Any and all suggestions are welcome.

I am not into S-scale and have been involved in converting his layout to DCC.

Now, into upgrading his layout and equipment.
