just of the top of my head, a few other nice things about TCA membership are that you can join the local chapter and get to know folks of like interests in your area. Also, the TCA museum has lots of displays and the library has archives that allow you to search for particular topics and get straight answers. It took me awhile to join, but glad I did.
You will need to get two signatures of TCA members to join, but I am sure there are plenty here or around your area that can help with that.

Being in the TCA is much more than just attending the York, PA meets - but it is a nice benefit.TCA is for anyone interested in Model Railroading, be they z, n, ho, s, o, g, standard gauge, etc - they don't discriminate. The York meets have something for everyone no matter your scale preference.BTW - to the board! Stop by the Coffee Pot sometime!
It has been about a year and a half since I got back into model railroading and I changed gauges from HO to O. Since buying the Hogwarts Express for my five year old grandson I have gone "absolutely nuts" according to my wife. My passion is collecting and operating trains that are or once operated in the area of western NY. That said are there any members from the Geneseo/York area?
I seen a ton of posts about York PA is it worth becoming a TCA member? I have a few friends who are big HO fans is TCA for them as well or is it primarily O gauge focused?
Thanks
Paul
