Well, I don't know if you could intall a fan driven smoker in it, but I do know if you get the smoke unit repaired again you can use pink insulation for houses since the old fluff in the smoker is burnt. Make shure you pack it tight but don't cover up the air hole in the bottom of the smoke unit because if you block the hole it won't puff. Hope this helps.

I was running my 2-8-4BerkShire and The smoke unit was just repaird and smoke fluid was put in and it burst out a in a flame no biger than a pencail shaveing and smaller than a lionel hand brake orderment and theres not enought "FLUFF" in the smoke unit and its all dark and not Fluffy as its susposed to be can any help me oh and this is the 4 repair so is there a way it can be installed with a Fan driven smoke unit so can some one help me
