While I don't think Mr. Melvin "walks on water", he does run a tight ship. I have had one or two posts deleted when i strayed over "the line", and i can see why it was done. I had not ponyed up the fee when the news was announced, but I had intended to, before June 1. I don't see anything wrong in some of those who had already paid asking that OGR keep it as a donation.
The OGR staff apparently came to the conclusion that a refund was the only fair thing to do. You can say and think what you like about Mr. Melvin, I will too, but i'm not going to broadcast it to the world- If I want to have words with him, i will communicate via email.

I think some of you need to get past this $18 issue, especially since it is now a non-issue. If you have a gripe about OGR or the OGR forum, I think it is time for you to start posting it over there.

And while Rich Melvin might have made a decision about fees that I wouldn't have made, I'm not the one paying his bills. It was his call, and he later found a solution to work around the fees. There is no reason for you to be insulting over it.

This issue has been beat to death, let's let it die already.
