Hope you all have a great day. Will be working on cleaning up KW transformer and the engines I brought home. Might put down a test track. Will be packing up HO layout that was on a 4X8. God bless all.

Morning Chief. What type of work do you need to do on the transformer and engines? They always say replace the cords on the transformers.

Yes, I'll do the cord. Clean the thing up inside and clean off the "field" and rollers and etc. Can you use alcohol or is something better. Those old transformers had a varnish on them I bet. Do not want to desolve anyting. Might use some die-electric on some moving parts. Had to repair one control handle [used slow hardening epoxy]. It had been glued before and the glue had "turned aloose" since it had been stored. General maintenance. Engines are easy.
