If so, give us some details and some pictures too. Good morning to all. Spankybird had a good B'day yesterday and got an engine. Do hope we enjoy the day and remember the real reason for Easter. God bless you all.

Hey! Ol' Peter, the Easter Bunny, said I have been a pretty good boy so he is bringing me TWO particular cars that he said would look great behind this loco. He promises that they will make some people laugh, and others want to leave the room. Can't get any better than that, can it? (wink)
He said they'll be here in a few days...

Anyway, I'm real curious as to what they might be...a smoking caboose, a crane car, a track cleaning car? (Double Wink)

Here's what is going to pull them...

Jim (I found some jelly beans - hope they lead me to the Golden Egg) Duda

The Easter Bunny set the alarm for 4AM to hide the eggs and baskets this morning. After doing his deed, he then went into the family room and flipped on the TV.

Who was on at 4:15 on Easter morning? None other than Elliot!!! Our very own Big Boy!!!!

What a surprise to have him visit the Easter bunny on Easter morning!

Now wait just a minute Jon, I was fast asleep at 4:15 AM CDT, so it wasn't me. Just ask Big_Girl, she can vouch for me. Beside, the Easter Bunny left me a couple of things too.

More BUNNIES, and these little brown balls. I don't think they are chocolate, so I would be happy to share.[:o)][:D][;)][(-D][(-D][(-D][(-D][swg]

The Easter Bunny was very accomodating when I asked him to leave something "special" for Big_Boy.[:-^][:O][:O][swg][swg]

The Easter bunny must be running late. I'm expecting the Lionel UP Challenger to be here any day. Sorry, no pictures yet. Had the pleasure of seeing the 1:1 scale version in February as it traveled back to Wyoming across the Kansas prarie. This is my first "big" steamer purchase and I'm looking forward to stoking the boiler and seeing it run. Have a great Sunday!

I dunno Big Boy and Big Girl! I flipped on the tube, and there was Elliot on RFD-TV on our DISH Network, running 30 trains at once and giving a tour of EnterTrainment!

All in all, a nice way to treat the bleary-eyed Easter Bunny!

Wow Jon, I had no idea that anyone was broadcasting any of Tom McComas' videos. Now THAT IS COOL!!! Unfortunately I don't get RFD-TV. Now I understand your original message. I guess I was literally and figuratively in the dark. [swg]

They run several times a week under the moniker "I Love Trains". And they usually re-broadcast the same episode, so for instance the video with you in it was re-broadcast this morning at ten.

They also run a show called "Trains and Locomotives", which is a series of video productions of prototype railroading. And they're usually narrated by some guy named "Rich Melvin". Whoever that is...

Hey Jon, a little birdy told me that he saw that guy lurking around here last night. Maybe he was lonely.[swg]

Or maybe it was just someone saying it was him, who really knows

That thought had crossed my mind too Tom, but the question would be why, since the name was registered back in November. I'll leave myself an out here, and go 90% sure it was indeed him.[;)]

By the way, if you check the profile, 0 posts. Another clue.

Personally, I would welcome him here, like anyone else. I'm just not sure everyone else would.[swg]

No trains, but the newspaper printed an article on UP 3985. Anybody want to make any obvious cliches about steam locomotives on Easter [:)]?

See you around the forums,

The Easter Bunny traded the chocolate and a few extra pounds for a nice old lionel steamer.
Thanks, Peter Cotton Tail!!

NYCentralPA, they are good old trains. Got that one as my first train at 6. 1952 Christmas present. Did not run it much until parents put it on a 4X8 and then I ran it a lot. Then the next year, Santa brought me a cattle car with loader and Plasticville station, house and church. Still got them all. [:)]
