Thanks to my wife, I'll be getting the Pennsy Lionel TMCC crance car as a B-day gift. I was think ing of getting the new pennsy scale ps4(?) gondola car Lionel is making this year to go with the crane car. What are others thoughts on what will look good with the crane car?

If you intend to make up an MOW "wreck train", they normally included a "bunk car", if it was a steam crane a "water car" was coupled(sometimes a tanker but often an old modified tender).
The car under the boom was called the "idler car" and could carry some equipment and supplies but normally a low side gondola was included to carry trucks or just wheel/axles, rails, ties, plates, etc. Some old photos also showed generator cars ("power cars")for night work at wreck sites.
