I think more accessory reviews, in either the magazine or more so the online video, is a great idea. CTT does a pretty good job of reviewing or running articles on accessories (they can only review what the importers send them); a video showing the operation would be great!
When I got my first train set (at about 5, Christmas, 1976), I also received a 2162 crossing gate with signal. The lights didn't alternate, so Dad thought it was defective, and got me a 2140 banjo signal instead. With some items, it is kinda hard to know what to expect judging from a picture.

To CLASSIC TOY TRAINS staff! Hello my name is Justin M. Blair and I have been a subscriber for a couple of years now, and I would like to just say that in these economic times that I would like to see MORE reviews of all the o-scale manufactures operating accessories on video! It would be nice to have a professional opinion on how well these toys work before I spend my money. And if anyone agrees feel free to respond and let CTT know!
Now having said that, I think y'all are doing a bang up job and I just renewed my subscription for 3 more wonderful years! Thanks again!
