Hi Alan,

Nice to have someone with experience here. I make about 1 post every 4 or 5 days on OGR forum, but 99% of my posts here. I guess that means they soon will be kicking people who are delinquent off the forum. I said I'd post to the bitter end, and I suppose the end has arrived then.

I'll check out your website. I'm interested in scratchbuilding telegraph poles so I'll see if I can find photos and explanation there. BTW, I tried once to string wire on the poles and for the second layout, I didn't. Poles without the wires were less of hassle and looked pretty realistic. I'm debating what to do this time. I used glass beads from Michaels for insulators.

Hi, Alan,

Welcome aboard. You'll find many familiar OGR names here. This is a good laid-back place to talk about trains and get help. I'll check out your website. Sounds interesting.
