Lionel powermaster hookup

We're all glad to have you here, but I think you'll find a lot more Lionel support on the Classic Toy Trains forum.  Mosty, we do HO and N here, and the O-gaugers hang out over there.

But Lionels sure bring back the ghosts of Christmas past to most of us...

I have the lionel command set and two powermasters and two transformers that comes in the lionel set. I have a 4x8 layout with a outer loop and figure 8 on the inside. They are not connected to each other. I can not figure out how to hook up the command base to the two powermasters or the transformer. Does any one have a similar layout and can someone walk me through hooking up this system to control it with the cab 1 remote. The two trains I have are without tmcc. Thanks Jamie
