This was mentioned on the OGR forum. I'd like to find out more info about it: stock #, catalog, etc.

I have had zero luck searching the interent.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks.

[:)][:)][:)][:)][:)][:)] Timing is everything !!

Last Saturday, I had the very thing you are looking for in my hot little hands. Here is where I found it:

SMOKE STACK HOBBY
368 LINCOLN AVENUE
LANCASTER, OH 43130
(740) 653-0404

Ask for Dale.

They carry Lionel, MTH and K-Line. They always have some interesting cars on the shelf. Normally they don't carry the "high priced" Lionel cars, but in this case it was there, brand new in the box. They are open I believe to 9:00 pm on weekdays. (Can you imagine a train store not closing at 5:00pm?) Lancaster, OH is a very famous community in US HIstory, but that is another story.

I bet it is still on the shelf as of today. BTW, I just purchased the second to the last TMCC Crew Talk Caboose from Trainworld. It arrived today.

Bingo!

I just programmed my new crew talk caboose. What a hoot! [:D] When put together in a programmed train, it talks to the engine and the engine talks back.

QUOTE: bobmoyer via emai:
I also bought a caboose from them last week, you mentioned programming, was there something I needed to do, I hit I believe #2 on the Cab-1 and the engine and caboose appear to talk to each other, the caboose is not as clear as the engine.

Bob,
I set my caboose up in a lash up, so that when I hit the crew talk for the lash up the caboose talks with the engine. Try turning the sound down and see if you get better quality.

Buckeye Riveter,

Thanks for the lead. I called Dale and he is looking for it.

For anyone else interested, I finally found the Lionel # 19750 on the HTOS website with a small review:

"The 1998 Holiday Music Bay Window Caboose has a "Christmas Red" plastic body with white roof. It features die-cast metal trucks with Electrocouplers, has interior illumination, plus rear strobe and marker lights. It plays traditional Christmas music via RailSounds, and has Command Control option. #19750 has a steep list price of $189.95. "

I'll have to see if I have a 1998 catalog to see a picture.
